The bacteria in your mouth (gross, I know) feed off sugar from juice and sodas. This byproduct of this process is an acid that weakens your enamel and can cause cavities. Even some all-natural drinks contain juice and can be harmful.
So what should you drink instead? Water.
I know what you are thinking: water is boring. Water is not only better for your teeth, but it is also cheap and readily available. Amazingly, our bodies are made up of 60% water, so instead of a can soda, reach for a glass of H20 instead.
